Welcome to the Alumni/ae Corner

We are building this section of our website as a place for featuring items for and about those of you who have moved beyond your Queens College days. Here you will find alumni/ae profiles and shorter updates on what your former classmates are up to. This page will be of interest not only to alums but also to current students who want to know what the world beyond Queens College brings. And faculty members always have a keen interest in knowing what their former students are doing.

We are hoping to get enough of a response to have an Alumni Update column with short notes of what you have been up to. If you have any information on jobs or internships, we can also post them on this page and add them to our career development database. Please send this information to: Econ.AlumniCorner@qc.cuny.edu. We look forward to hearing from you.

Success on the World Stage:
Measuring the Impact of Internationalization on Queens College's Minority Immigrant Students and Alumni

Queens College, CUNY, is located in one of America's most ethnically varied counties in New York City, and is therefore considered one of the most diverse schools in the Northeast. Faculty at Queens College are currently conducting research on the student impact of international experiences at Queens College (such as study abroad, internships with international companies, service learning overseas, volunteering locally within diverse communities, or globally focused coursework).

Students and alumni who were born outside the United States (or whose parents were born outside the United States) and who identify themselves as a minority immigrant are invited to participate in the following anonymous survey that should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete:
